Amica Edgemont Village

District of North Vancouver, British Columbia

Originally conceived as a retirement residence, Amica Edgemont Village evolved into a continuum of care rental residence encompassing 98 independent supportive living suites and 29 licensed residential care suites (assisted living and memory care). The entitlement process required an Official Community Plan amendment, rezoning, development permit, and building permits, as well as negotiating the purchase of municipal lands to complete the site assembly. The occupancy permit was issued in January 2017, and both breakeven and stabilized occupancy were reached in twelve months. It has operated at near 100% capacity since and maintains a lengthy waitlist.

Amica Edgemont Village was developed in a joint venture between Campion Property Group and BayBridge Senior Housing. 100% interest was acquired by BayBridge/Amica Senior Lifestyles in 2020.
